Meet Hana akari / 花灯

Hanaakari is a small wagashi (Japanese sweets) shop born from the long-established Kikuzuki.
The name “Hana akari” reflects the wish to bring smiles to those who enjoy their sweets—just like the soft glow of the moon gently lighting up flowers.
Their anko (sweet red bean paste) is made from carefully selected domestic soybeans, with a delicate sweetness that lets the natural flavor of the azuki beans shine through.
From elegant, traditional wagashi designs to playful sweets inspired by seasonal events like Christmas and Halloween, their selection is both charming and fun to choose from.
