Behind the Scenes of Japanese Tea Making

Founded in 1955, Marufuku Seicha offers a special opportunity to observe the delicate “finishing” process of Japanese tea, usually unseen by the public.
Watch skilled artisans carefully sort and process tea leaves gathered from all over Japan.
After the tour, enjoy a short workshop on how to brew tea properly and taste a variety of Shizuoka teas, a hands-on way to experience the depth of Japan’s tea culture with all your senses.

Notes
- This experience is for participants aged 7 and above. (Children aged 12 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.)
- Please refrain from using perfume or strongly scented products. (Japanese tea is delicate and prone to absorbing odors, which may affect the tea leaves and related products.)
- For your safety, please follow all instructions given by the staff.
- Please wear comfortable clothing. High-heeled shoes are not permitted.
- The organizer cannot be held responsible for any accidents or injuries that may occur during the experience.
- Please make reservations at least 4 business days in advance, not including weekends or public holidays.
- Payment is required in advance via PayPal.
- No refunds will be issued for late arrivals or no-shows.
