Mishima Taisha Shrine

Mishima Taisha Shrine

“Mishima-daimyojin” is the most dignified shrine in the Tokai region, and is
famous as the first shrine in Izu where Minamoto no Yoritomo prayed when he
raised his army and won the first battle of the war. It is said to be blessed with a
good harvest and prosperous business, and many people visit the shrine

Hakone Road is also easy by E-bike

Thinking back to ancient times, we will climb Hakone Road, taking in the
elegant scenery where the stone pavements of the old Tokaido Highway still
remain. E-bikes can easily climb Kowameshi Hill, the most difficult slope on the
west slope of Hakone, which is said to be too steep to climb without eating
“kowameshi” (rice cake) to build up one’s strength.

Shounji Temple

Shounji Temple

Shounji Temple, a historic temple opened by Shounin Nichimei in the Edo
period. Located at the western foot of Mt. Hakone, it offers a direct view of Mt.
Fuji. Nearby is the Mishima Skywalk, the longest suspension bridge in Japan.
Fuji will relieve the fatigue of the cycling.

Harvest Experience at the foot of Hakone

Hakone Seiryoku Vegetables

“Hakone Seiryoku Vegetables” are open-air vegetables grown in an area
located in the southwest of the Hakone Mountain Range, in soil rich in volcanic
ash that is well drained and has good fertilizer retention properties. Because
they grow up stress-free in the sunlight on a plateau with clean air at an altitude
of more than 50 meters, they are first-rate in both taste and quality.

Let’s harvest seasonal vegetables!
